Fun With Food Sundays – Peanut Butter…Hot Dogs?

 

We’ve all had a hot dog – they’re “dog gone good.”

But have you ever had a Peanut Butter Hot Dog?

Check out this simple recipe.

What You Need

  • 2 tbsp. Peanut Butter
  • 1 (or 2) Slices of Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 Banana (peeled)

Directions

Step # 1 – Spread 1 tbsp of peanut butter onto each slice of bread.

Step # 2 – Break (or slice) banana into two pieces.

Step # 3 – Place one banana piece onto each peanut buttered slice of bread

Step # 4 – Wrap bread around the banana slice.

Step # 5 – Eat and enjoy like a hot dog

Extras

  1. Spread jam or jelly along with the peanut butter or drizzle on top of banana (like ketchup).
  2. Sprinkle with cinnamon
  3. Sprinkle with chocolate chips

This fun food is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a snack.
