What’s the “buzz” on Bumblebees?

1. The biggest Bumblebee is found in South America. Bombus dahlbomii has been described as looking like a flying mouse.
2. Bumblebees flap their wings 200 times per second
3. Bumblebees need to eat A LOT. Even a Bumblebee with a full stomach is only 40 minutes away from starvation.
4. Male Bumblebees don’t have a stinger
5. Bumblebees have stinky feet. They use this “scent marker” to find their way back to the entrance of their hive.
