By Casandra L. – Age 10
Snow whirls and swirls all around,
a winter storm has blown into town.
A frosty nip is in the air,
it’s cold enough for a polar bear!
Should I brave the cold outside my bed?
No. I think I’ll read a book instead!
Thank you, Casandra, for sharing this winter poem. It was awesome!
Know what else is awesome! The coldest place on Earth. Check out this “chilly” fact.
The East Antarctic Plateau (between Dome Argus and Dome Fuji) temperatures can drop to nearly -148 degrees F (-100 degrees C).
Scientists believe this is probably the coldest it can get on Earth!
