By, Louise Pocock
I have a tune inside my head
That follows me around.
It’s just a simple melody
But such a joyous sound.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la…
I sing it as I go –
Imagining a Broadway show
And with a star-like glow.
Sometimes I like to whistle it
Or tap it on my knee.
Sometimes I like to dance along,
My tune can set me free!
There’s a tune inside my head
I hear and feel and see.
Once I thought I’d lost my tune,
But it will not lose me.
