Baking With Gramma for the Holidays – Snowflake Tortillas

These holiday tortillas are one of Gramma’s favorites.

What You Need

  • 6 flour tortillas (6 inches), warmedediblesnowflakes_ingreds_jdubien
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • Confectioners’ sugar
  • Scissors
  • Baking sheet

Directions

Step #1 – Fold a tortilla in half, then in half again and once again.

Step #2 – Using clean scissors or sharp knife, cut small triangles on folded and outside edges.

Step #3 – Unfold tortilla

Step #4 – Brush both sides with oil.

Step #5 – Place on a greased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining tortillas and oil.

Step #6 – Bake at 400° for 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned.

Step #7 – Dust both sides of tortillas with confectioners’ sugar while still warm.
