Howling Fun Facts About the Wolf Dog

1. A Wolf Dog is a cross between a dog (usually a Husky) and a wolf.
2. Wolves are “crepuscular.” This means they are most active at dawn and dusk.
3. The wolf species has a bigger skull than normal dogs. They also have bigger brains, too!
4. Because wolves are much thinner than dogs, and have really long legs, they can run faster than our doggy friends.
5. The largest species of wolf is the Mackenzie Valley Wolf. It can reach weights up to 175 pounds!
